Making patterns

To avoid doing any real work, I am making patterns. Ran across Spoonflower competition - Large-Scale Botanicals using a restricted palette. Using some ferns I shot many moons ago, turning them in to vectors ... came up with this. Still playing around, but that was fun!

Thank you Kim ... I decided today I am like my friends' Australian Shepherd ... who constantly needs to working, herding, chasing something ... not a laying around in the sun kinda dog .... Thats ME! It doesn't really matter what I am herding ...pixels or patterns or card design ... isn't that funny. The pattern was fun but I would definitely need some practice to hone that skill ;) xoxo Happy New Year!

woof!
what do you use to change the fern scan to vector? Illustrator/
I like that pattern as a textile. I'd buy it if I saw it at the fabric store. I like the ones without the dot pattern superimposed...
